Quintero Petit Quinteros

The Quintero Petit Quintero is a medium-bodied Petit Corona cigar rolled in Havana, Cuba. The cigar looks like a rustic Cuban cigar from the days of Ernest Hemmingway, wrapped in a smooth Colorado colored leaf, with a slightly oily texture and a few veins. The cigar is rolled with Vuelta Abajo Cuban tobacco, and it is 4.1” in length with a ring gauge of 43.

The cigar is well constructed and pulls well from the first puff. The cold draw is sweet, with hints of fruit and flowers. The first third of the cigar lives up to its rustic look, with warm tropical tastes of coffee, orchids, and rich leather. The second third darkens the flavor, with tastes of chocolate, earth, and a retrohale of roasted coffee beans—the final third steps up the intensity, giving a stronger and fuller-bodied flavor to the smoke. 

This is an excellent cigar for smokers looking for a medium-strong cigar to pair with coffee to start the day or smoke over a thought-provoking book or newspaper.
