El Rey del Mundo

Since its founding back in 1848 by German businessman Emilio Ohmstedt, El Rey del Mundo has remained one of the most prestigious cigar brands in the world. El Rey del Mundo translates to ‘king of the world’ in Spanish. It is produced in Cuba and also in Honduras by the Villazon family. 

El Rey del Mundo was managed in 1882 by Spanish businessman Antonio Allones who carried on production until 1905, when it was then taken over by Diaz Hermanos y Cia venture. Since then, El Rey del Mundo has remained a prominent cigar brand known for producing full-bodied premium quality cigars.

One of El Rey del Mundo’s most renowned cigars on the market is the El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme. Its rich flavors of coffee, milk, honey with notes of pepper and cinnamon come together to make a perfect blend ideal for either the novice smoker or the aficionado.
