Quintero Favoritos

The Quintero Favorito is a unique cigar rolled in the finest Cuban traditions. While technically in a Petit Robusto format, the unique 4.5” length and larger-than-usual 50 ring gauge make this a pleasantly flavorful smoke. It is hand-rolled using Vuelta Abajo tobacco with a silky wrapper and in the classic style using short filler.

The cold draw out of the box gives off hints of leather and butter. The cigar lights well, though it might require a few minor touch ups. The first third is the mildest, bringing out creamy, sweet Cuban cafe con leche flavors. The retrohale is warm with the taste of freshly toasted bread. The second third develops the flavors bringing in herbal and spicy notes—the final third returns to the base sweetness for a delightful finish.

This is the ideal cigar for relaxing with a book, an afternoon on the beach, or a long walk on a sunny day.
