The Partagas Culebras, meaning snake in Spanish, is one of the most unique styles of Cuban cigar. The cigar comes as three cigars wrapped around one another, forming a twisted bundle. When split apart, the cigars retain their crooked, bent appearance and have a soft brown Colorado wrap. Beyond the unique look, the cigars are rolled from fine Cuban tobacco, are 5.7” long, and have a ring gauge of 39.
The cigars have a distinct grassy cold draw and burn evenly with a good pull despite their odd shape. The first third is rich and savory with flavors of humus, cedar, and oak, accented by a light spice. The second third of the cigar increases the intensity while deepening the flavors. The final third adds a base layer of leather with a hint of vanilla sweetness, which adds a fuller body to the other flavors.
This cigar is excellent for those looking to try a rarer, more unique Cuban cigar at celebratory moments.
