Davidoff released the Nicaragua Box Pressed series in 2016 to take cigar smokers back to the origins of the brand. This cigar is rolled from pure Nicaraguan tobacco, with a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano Jalapa binder, and pure Nicaraguan long filler. The Robusto format comes in at 5” in length with a ring gauge of 48. The Colorado wrapper has a satiny finish with invisible seams and few noticeable veins. 

The cold draw is mild, with sweet coffee, caramel, and leather tones. The first third of the cigar has strong hints of pepper and leather, with a creamy retrohale. The second third smooths out the spice with subtle sweetness, and the final third increases the strength but brings the spicy, sweet, and creamy tones together in harmony.
