Dear Larry, my cigars finally arrived. They actually arrived in Sweden on the 11th but customs siezed them and ofcourse wanted their tax, and any tax due to the powers that be (government)...
Still much, much cheaper than in the shops, I have still managed to save thousands of kronor( Thats hundreds of dollars to you mate). However they are here and they are fine and Im looking forward to trying them all!!

hoy han llegado los Partagas y Trinidad, como siempre en optimas condiciones y un buen grado de humedad ( llegan mas secos que en invierno, claro, pero todavia en un limite mas que aceptable). con los calores del verano, en Europa y las cajas parando, a veces en almacenes o camiones, algunos vendedores a qien compro puros no habanos, estan entroduciendo en las cajas de envio unos bolsito "boveda" o similares que mantiene una humedad ideal para una pequeña cantidad de cigarros ( una o dos cajas) durante un par de semanas , mas que suficiente para el envio. estas bolsita valen unos 1.5 dolares y realmente no seria mala idea usarla para envios a Europa donde, ahora, el calor seco puede realmente poner en peligro unos envios que se atrasen un poco... comentaselo a tu supervisor, a ver que dice...
tu servicio sigue siendo impecable y por ello te doy las gracias, los puros llegaron justo a tiempo porque mañana me voy a Italia por unas semanas a visitar mi famila. estare en contacto contigo, como siempre, y a mi vuelta recibiras mi nuevo pedido.

Thanks to Mr. Grant. he contacted me about their products.We talked, acouple of times,gave me a great deal.Got my Cohiba's VI, and the churchill samplers.Shipped to my door 3-4 days (U.S.) safe and still fresh! He said to give them about week to let them re-adjust to new location (humidor)not in a hurry so I waited a few weeks, box came in little later.This company is the real deal!! The cigars are OFFICIALLY REAL!! Tell all your friends to get with Mr.Grant and the great customer support staff(If the cell phone companies had this kind of support the would not get any complaints. deifnitivamente puedes bajar a tu website todos los comentarios mios que te apetezcan, lo que te comento en mis emails es la pura verdad y no podria estar mas satisfecho con tus servicios asi que, adelante...te aseguro que siempre hablo muy bien de vosotros a gente de aqui que compra puros pero la gente aqui, en general, no esta acostumbrada a las compras online, tienen miedo que les engañen, que la aduana, ...1000 historias y asi muchos prefieren comprar puros habanos en estancos a precios ridiculos o ( la mayoria ) compran cigarros no cubanos pero no de los excelentes que hay ( yo tambien compro muchos de los mejores del mercado) sino porquerias como Vegafina o parecidos que se venden mucho aqui y que se parecen a fumar un papel de periodico...Bueno, para gustos hay colores.

The reason I am writing to you is to express my thanks and admiration towards your sales assistant Pauline.
The customer service industry around the world in the many countries I have been to, is generally very poor. Assistants are either overly friendly and smile to much while at the same time being of no use at all, or they are bored and rude and once again no use at all.
In my experience when I receive treatment like this, I simply do not go back there again, whether it be a local supermarket or the Meridian Hotel in Dubai, if the service is not good, I can spend my money elsewhere.
A few weeks ago, a male employee who was formerly in Paulines position, disappointed me greatly by displaying a very poor attitude, At that moment I decided that I wad not going to continue buying from SoloCigars, however, for some reason I had to call back and was lucky enough to speak with Pauline.
Since that time she has been courteous, polite, friendly, respectful, helpful and always manages to make me feel like an appreciated customer. She is a credit to herself and to SoloCigars and without her I would now be spending thousands of dollars elsewhere to buy my cigars. If it were in my power I would grant her some form of award or some show of gratitude, as her level of service is a real rarity today.
In my company we have an old saying:

Thanks Eric and Alejandro for all three cigars I recently received in good condition. As of to-date, I was able to smoke only the first one(San Cristobal - El Morro) a few days ago with my friend, JIM. As you will see below, I attached his comment on the cigar. I also felt similarly. It was an excellent cigar! Thanks again.
The other two, MC-especial and Sancho Panza-Molino, I still have not had the chance to perform the test-drive yet. Before start smoking, I have to find the appropriate time and mood: this will take some time during coming holiday period. I sincerely hope they are just as good as El Morro. Soon, I will let you know.
Meanwhile, I noticed that the second shipment(MC-Especial) was opened by US Customs, but the box was not opened. And few cigars in the box of Sancho Panza-Molino had the wrappers torn/split near the head of the cigars. Do you have any idea why?
Wish you all the good things for the remaining year and the coming 2009.

Vincent, First, nobody would be able to determine if a cigar was an authentic Cuban without actually buying it in Cuba from a government store. However, to the extent that it can be determine by just smoking one, Id say that this cigar is probably a legitimate Cuban.
(1) Has a wonderful aroma to the extent that others comment on it
(2) Has wonderful burn, ash, and draw
(3) Has wonderful flavor and shows great complexity all through the smoke from end to end
(4) Has a tremendous finish and leaves one wishing it would last a bit longer. I smoked it all the way down until it was burning my lips and finger, and it never lost its good manners.
(5) It was a profoundly good smoking experience
I havent had a chance to look this cigar up in my Cuban encyclopedia, but Im certain that it will indicate all good things

Mr. Huntington, I just wanted to drop you a line and say THANK YOU for your prompt and excellent service to my problem.
As I pointed out in my earlier Email, I received a gift of a Cohiba Humidor and it was damaged on the front corner and the glass was broken out of the hygrometer. My plans were for this box to be displayed on my office desk. The damage took away from the prestige of the humidor. After receiving my photo you were quick to respond and send me another humidor that arrived quickly and with no damages.
I operate in the service industry and know situations happen and I hope people never judge my company by our mistakes but rather how we respond to them. As far as I am concerned you and your company have proven there are still companies that care about the customer.
Again, Thank you for your quick response and resolution to my problem. Now, the box looks as good on the outside as it does on the inside (full of Cohiba cigars!).

The new site looks good with the exception of one thing. When I slide my mouse over the menu bar on the left side of the page and the description of those items appear in the lower area of the website, you cant read the words due to the images behind them. I would recommend you remove the images and keep it as a black background or remome the words all together. As I say to all my fellow website techs, " Make it bubba proof, and Im bubba!"

I just want to say how much I enjoy your cigars as well as your service. I would have to say in my opinion my favorite cigar would be the Monticristo #2. I say this is my favorite for a couple of reasons, one it is a torpedo my favorite size in a cigar. The second reason would definetely be the taste it has, a wonderful nutty slightly spicy medium bodied taste. I can enjoy this cigar any time of the day, due to the fact that it is not to powerful yet not too mild either. I enjoy everything from mild to full as long as it is quality tabacco.
